Connect Claude to SonicR1

The SonicR1 connector lets Claude look things up in your workspace while you chat. It is read-only today: Claude can read, but it cannot change your CRM, send messages or create calendar events.

What the connector does

Once connected, you can ask Claude about your CRM records, your call summaries and transcripts, your knowledge base and your briefings, within the permissions you approve. Claude acts as the SonicR1 user who approved the connection and sees only what that user can see.

Add it in claude.ai

  1. In Claude, open the settings for connectors and add a custom connector.
  2. Enter this URL: https://sonicr1.com/api/mcp
  3. Claude sends you to SonicR1. Sign in and approve the permissions listed below.

Add it in Claude Code

  1. Run this command in your terminal: claude mcp add --transport http sonic https://sonicr1.com/api/mcp
  2. Then start Claude Code, open /mcp and choose sonic to sign in and approve the permissions below.

Prefer a key instead of signing in? Owners and admins can create one in Settings → Connected assistants; the page shows the matching command.

What you allow, in plain words

When you approve the connection, you grant some or all of these permissions:

  • Ask questions
  • Read your CRM records
  • Read call summaries and transcripts
  • Read your knowledge base
  • Read briefings

How to disconnect

Open Settings → Connected assistants in SonicR1 and choose Disconnect next to the connection. It stops working at once. Disconnecting stops future requests; it does not remove copies Claude already holds.

Privacy

SonicR1 data accessed through this connection is sent to the AI provider you chose, where that provider's terms, account settings and retention rules apply.

That data can contain personal or confidential information, such as contact details, note text, call summaries and transcript excerpts. Share only data you are authorised to use for this purpose.

A connection acts as the SonicR1 user who approved it, which may not be the person typing in Claude. Check drafts against your sources before you use them; returned context can be incomplete.
